Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) and Unilever Consumer Care Limited (UCL) have donated approximately Tk 8 crore 7 lakh of the company's profit to the 'Labour Welfare Foundation' fund under the Ministry of Labor and Employment as its contribution to workers' share of profit.

Recently, UBL’s Director of Supply Chain, Mr. Ruhul Quddus, Legal Director & Company Secretary, Mr. SOM Rashed Quayum and Director - Corporate Affairs, Partnerships & Communications, Ms. Shamima Akhter along with UCL’s Regulatory Affairs Head & Company Secretary, Mohammad Naharul Molla handed over two cheques to Begum Mannujan Sufian, MP, Honorable State Minister and Mr. Md. Ehsan-E-Elahi, Secretary of The Ministry of Labour and Employment at the Bangladesh Secretariat in the capital. Other senior officials of both institutions were present at this time.
